Raider Families,

Due to the weather being forecasted as intensive with heavy winds and rains for tomorrow evening, the Back-to-School Night has been postponed.  All other school related activities will continue as planned.


Working with families and the community is a high priority and we will announce a new date as soon as possible and appreciate your understanding and flexibility. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause with your plans.

The New Year kicks off a new enrollment cycle for the kindergarten and transitional kindergarten in West Sacramento’s premier school district.


Birth Date Cut Off for Transitional Kindergarten

Your child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if his/her 5th birthday falls on or between Sept. 2, 2019 and Dec. 2, 2019.


Birth Date Cut Off for Kindergarten

Your child is eligible for Kindergarten if his/her 5th birthday falls on or before September 1, 2019.


Required Documents

  • Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Records (Must be current)
  • Proof of Address (Utility bill, mortgage or rental agreement)
  • Physical (Must be after August 2018)
  • Dental Exam

Combating Bullying at Riverbank

What is Bullying?

  • Bullying is when someone repeatedly and on purpose says or does mean or hurtful things to another person who has a hard time defending himself or herself.

What are We Doing?

  • We take every report of bullying seriously
  • We interview students and conduct an investigation
  • If the bullying report is founded we submit a formal report to our district office as directed by AB 9
  • Students involved will receive consequences based on our progressive discipline policy
